"Check your six" nghĩa là gì?

"Check your six" hoặc " on your six" = coi chừng đằng sau bạn. "Six" là hướng 6 giờ, nghĩa là ở đằng sau, phía sau lưng.

Things were going great when my partner suddenly shouted: SERGEANT POWERS, CHECK YOUR SIX!
His ability (khả năng) to check his six o'clock is degraded (suy giảm), thus increasing the time necessary to make the kill.
With some care and planning, you can get quite near a fish before making your cast (thả, quăng). Then, before you cast, “check your six.” That is, check behind you for any obstructions (vật cản) to your back cast.
