"Claim check" nghĩa là gì?

"Claim check" là loại phiếu biên nhận, tờ hóa đơn (tiệm giặt là, sửa xe, sửa đồ...) hay thẻ dùng cho hành lý ký gửi đưa khách hàng giữ lại đến khi trả đồ.
Ví dụ
May I have your claim check ? I' ll get your coat.
If luggage (hành lý) is lost later, you must go through a lengthy process of elimination (loại trừ) to find the claim check for the missing piece.
She told the girls that they would have to wait for daddy because she had the baggage claim check. There was a commotion (chấn động) at the exit. The man in front of her was arguing with the attendant (phục vụ) because he had lost his claim check.
Staff: "Matt, it will be a while before our luggage comes down, would you go and secure (bảo vệ) the rental car (xe thuê)?"
Matt: "Sure. You'll grab my bag?"
Staff: "Of course! I'll need your claim check.”
Matt handed him the claim check and walked off toward the Hertz sign.
