Face-to-face communication is becoming less common in the workplace due to the rise of remote work, coworking apps, and new technologies. It’s important that critical information or context of communications doesn’t get lost in translation.

In case you get lost in translation, a vector is an organism (cơ thể sinh vật, hệ thống tổ chức) that transmits a disease or parasite (ký sinh trùng) from one animal or plant to another. Are all these getting to you? Or you’re still dense? If you are, just bear with me as these might save your life. Never mind the others, I’m sure they’re not as important as yourself.

A word's meaning can sometimes get lost in translation as it crosses borders. That seems to be happening to the term "lockdown". About one-third of the world's population has now had its movement restricted in the fight against coronavirus, but those restrictions (lệnh giới nghiêm) vary so substantially from country to country that one word is being used to describe very different experiences.
