"Tip-up" nghĩa là gì?

"Tip-up" (danh từ) là loại dụng cụ giúp câu cá trên băng dễ dàng. Động từ nghĩa là làm nghiêng, đổ, rót.

After setting more tip-ups, we went back to the first tip-up and it was frozen in the ice.
You also have to be careful with the Frisbee style tip-ups. They are made the same size as the hole a ten inch auger blade (lưỡi khoan) makes. They're not impossible, but you do have to use care when setting one up.
Most tip-ups consist of crossed sticks (thanh chéo) that lay horizontally (ngang) and hold the tip-up above the ice. The reel (guồng ống) is submerged (chìm), and is set to engage a wire lever (dây đòn) if turned by a fish.
