"You can't win for losing" nghĩa là gì?

"(One) can't win for losing" = không thể thắng nếu cứ để thua -> nghĩa là không thể thành công nếu cứ liên tục làm sai, điều này thường thể hiện rằng một người không thể tạo ra thành công, mà luôn bị thất bại, coi thường.

Ví dụ
In all my years on this earth, I would always say the majority (phần lớn) of what everybody else says. "Why me Lord?" “I can't win for losing.” “If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.” “If it wasn't for the Lord on my side, where would I be?" Or "I am cursed (nguyền rủa)." All these things seem to come to mind.

I heard about a man who tried to make it big in the stock market (thị trường chứng khoán). He invested (đầu tư) half his money in paper towels, and the other half in revolving doors (cửa quay). The he said he got "wiped out" (văng ra) before he could "turn around"! Sometimes you can't win for losing, and sometimes even while winning, you lose.

How come I', in a world full of people and no one can here me scream (hét)? It's like I'm down here, all alone. Why have I been dealt a bad hand (không may mắn, gặp bất lợi). I don't like to complain (phàn nàn), but it's like I can't win for losing. When people know that you are in pain, it's like they love it. Most people like to kick you why you are down.
