"Ask for" nghĩa là gì?

"Ask for (someone/something)" = yêu cầu điều gì. Nghĩa khác là muốn gặp hoặc nói chuyện với ai.
Ví dụ
I am not afraid to ask for help! Children can ask for help from parents, teachers, and police officers.
Wakefield police are asking for the public's help in finding a 66-year-old man who was last seen last Wednesday.
Somebody broke (đột nhập) into a home in Rockingham and stole guns. Local law enforcement (thực thi pháp luật) officals do not have any leads, so they're asking for help.
When I'm at a restaurant and receive excellent service, I'll ask for the manager. Of course that always causes stress to the staff because so many customers ask for the manager to complain (phàn nàn), but I've got a different mission (nhiệm vụ).
