"Bump (one's) gums" = sưng nướu -> (tiếng lóng) nghĩa là nói ngu, vô nghĩa.

Ví dụ
"Come on, brown skin, don't be like that," the hustler (gái điếm) insisted, hot on her heels. “I know you're digging (thúc) me, or you wouldn't have agreed to bump gums together.”
