"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" nghĩa là gì?

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" nghĩa là đối xử với người khác theo cách mà bạn muốn bản thân mình được đối xử. Bạn muốn được tôn trọng, hãy tôn trọng mọi người trước tiên. Đây chính là Nguyên tắc Vàng (The Golden Rule) theo lời răn của Chúa.

Ví dụ
Try and find a job that you like and stick with it. It can make life so much better if you can do something that you enjoy. Try and be a good citizen and remember and try to live by the golden rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Three suggestions (gợi ý) for a happy life. Live by the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have other do unto you.” Read God’s word daily, be a doer of it and obey (tuân theo) the Ten Commandments (Mười điều răn). “Believe nothing you hear and only half you see,” an old adage (ngạn ngữ) my mother taught me.

Last, I want to say that we often forget to do less talking and more listening, both to what people are telling us and not telling us. Being a good listener requires further introspection (nội quan) into the other person’s needs and desires and being able to empathize (đồng cảm) with them. Ultimately, it comes down to treating others with respect and decency (thích hợp), according to the well-known quote that you must “do unto others as you would have them do to you.”
