"Get ticket punched" nghĩa là gì?

"Get (one's) ticket punched" = vé bị bấm lỗ -> tiếng lóng nghĩa là bị giết hoặc đã chết; chắc như "đi hết hành trình cuộc đời" đó các bạn 🙂.

Ví dụ
“Before his surgery, he said, 'Well, maybe I'll get my ticket punched today.' I said, 'Well, if you do, good luck and enjoy the game,'” Brandt said.

You don’t cross the mob (băng nhóm tội phạm) and just hope to get away with it. Back in the glory days of the Mafia it didn’t matter where you were or how many people were around you. If you owed a debt or were marked in any way it was going to happen. You were bound to get your ticket punched and the guys doing it wouldn’t care if God Himself was in attendance. Narcisse learned this the hard way.

“I feel a need to do something,” stated driver Don Yavorsky of Prince George. “I used to be fairly active in the community, and now that I’m retired I have more time on my hands. “This fuels that void,” added Yavorsky. “I like helping Dan, doing something for the community, and just doing something nice.” “I’m an old man just trying to get my ticket punched early so I can get to heaven a little quicker,” added Yavorsky wittingly (có ý thức, biết rõ việc mình làm).
