"Upper story" nghĩa là gì?

"Upper story" hoặc "top story" nghĩa là tầng cao hoặc cao nhất của tòa nhà. Nghĩa bóng là chỉ bộ não.
Ví dụ
The building was large enough to serve as a barn (chuồng), with an top story loft (gác xép).
This compact house is divided into an open ground floor and an intimate (riêng biệt) upper story.
The 8th floor of the building and below are made of concrete (bê tông), while the upper stories are supported by steel and are considered more precarious (không chắc chắn).
The enormous (to lớn) difference between the mind of a man and that of a child exists because in the latter the upper story of the brain is not developed, the convolutions (phân tích) are scarcely indicated (hiếm khi chỉ ra), the organs (cơ quan) of will and speech are wanting.
