"Young Turk" chỉ những người trẻ nổi loạn, dám đứng lên đấu tranh, phản đối hệ thống chính quyền. "The Young Turks" (Những người Thổ trẻ) trước đây là nhóm người cải cách đòi hỏi phải đổi mới và hiện đại hóa nước Thổ trong thời đại Đế chế Ottoman, họ đã thực hiện cuộc cách mạng năm 1908 và lật đổ vua Abdul Hamid II.
