"Before the wind" = trước cơn gió -> nghĩa là rất vội vàng, hấp tấp, chạy đua với gió để đi nhanh hơn.

Ví dụ
Having fallen asleep in his boat, Victor wakes with no option but to “drive before the wind”, avoiding “the wide Atlantic”. Blown across hazardous (nguy hiểm, liều) waters, he finds himself in Ireland, a “wild and rocky’ place with ‘traces of civilisation’ (những vết tích của nền văn minh).

Speaking to Daily Hive from Florida, Clark shared that his father owned a GoKart track in Whitby, Ontario. He worked there growing up, and again after serving a decade in the Navy. “It’s the exhilaration of driving. It’s like a convertible (ô tô bỏ mui được). You drive before the wind” Clark said.

Start your run into the wind and finish with it at your back, so the breeze (gió nhẹ) doesn’t blast (gây họa, làm tàn) you after you’ve broken a sweat. To avoid a long, biting slog (cú đập, cú đánh mạnh), try breaking it up: Run into the wind for about 10 minutes, turn around to run before the wind for five minutes, and repeat.
