If that's the case, it'll be interesting to see how Cronin's script explains Ash's absence, if at all, and whether or not Ash vs. Evil Dead is still considered canon in Evil Dead 4, which will have a female protagonist (nữ vai chính). It would also be fun to see Campbell make a cameo (phòng mái vòm) for old times' sake, possibly as a monster (yêu quái) or in some other non-Ash role where he could be disguised (cải trang) a bit under make-up.
