"Weigh one's words" có từ weigh là cân nhắc, xem xét cẩn thận -> cụm từ này nghĩa là suy nghĩ, cân nhắc kỹ trước khi nói, phát biểu.
Ví dụ
Weigh your words before mocking (trêu trọc) the overweight (béo phì). Somebody carrying extra pounds may be suffering from a thyroid (tuyến giáp) problem.
