"You can't polish a turd" nghĩa là gì?

"You can't polish a turd" = không thể đánh bóng cục phân -> nghĩa là không thể khiến những việc vặt vãnh trở nên hấp dẫn hơn, cố gắng vô ích mà thôi.
Ví dụ
