"Let the perfect be the enemy of the good" hoặc "perfect/best is the enemy of good" = hoàn hảo là kẻ thù của cái tốt -> nghĩa là cầu toàn đâm ra hỏng việc, nếu cứ khăng khăng làm mọi việc thật hoàn hảo có thể đem đến kết quả không như mong đợi, thậm chí không ở mức tốt chứ chưa nói đến hoàn hảo.

We need to rediscover that corner of our language because, right now, things are hard enough without looking for any extra trouble.
Of course, they say that perfect is the enemy of good. This has never been truer than when you're trying to make an amorphous (vô định hình) blob into an object that is at least recognizable. But just keep in mind that the point is not to produce something impressive, let alone sellable. Like children, even something that is probably ugly to other people becomes beautiful to you when you made it.
