A Georgia bride’s wish for a peacock-themed wedding cake turned into a nightmare most fowl.

Rena Davis, 52, paid $300 for the design featuring two peacocks (công) and a trail (vạch, vệt dài) of chocolate cupcakes, but was instead left to get hitched alongside a wedding cake that looked more like a “lopsided turkey with leprosy (bệnh hủi),”.

To make matters even worse, the peacock’s head fell off just after being delivered and the icing — which was supposed to be fondant (kẹo mềm) — was made of buttercream instead.

“I felt heartbroken,” Davis told The Sun. “I saw [the cake] and walked out of the room.”
