"You're in the army now!" nghĩa là chấn chỉnh đi, bạn đã vào quân đội, mọi thứ sẽ rất khác ngoài kia (ý chỉ cường độ và thái độ khi huấn luyện quân sự mà một tân bính sẽ phải đối mặt).

Ví dụ
It has been said that emotions are affected by the weather. It has also been said, “You're in the army now so you might as well be happy. Because nobody, I mean nobody, cares if you're not."

If I were a civilian (dân thường), he would love to take the suit because he knew he could get some money out of the railroad. But "you're in the Army now and you'll never get rich, you son-of-a-bitch, you're in the Army now."

You're in the Army now . Whether you decide to leave almost immediately or postpone it a while through the DEP, nothing surpasses the excitement of that first day when you leave for Basic Combat Training (BCT) .

Being Opie, and unable to resist the temptation (cám dỗ) to irritate (chọc tức) John a bit, he started marching in place and singing. "You're in the army now. You're not behind a plow. You'll never be rich, you son of a bitch. You're in the army now."
