"A kick in the balls" = cú đá vào chim/giữa háng -> nghĩa là thất bại thảm hại/đáng thất vọng; nghĩa khác là trừng phạt nghiêm khắc vì hành động ngu ngốc, xấu xa.

It sounds like a big kick in the balls, but if you sold yours for $500, it's still a kick in the balls because now it's worth (đáng giá) $1,500. My friend sold his for $500 on eBay a little while later and was laughing at me, but he wishes he had it back now because it's worth so much more.
