Exactly when your business hits the break-even point depends on many factors and your ultimate goals shouldn’t be reaching the break-even point quickly. Rather, you want to break-even as soon as it’s reasonably possible.

Though the future of Universal's Epic Universe is still in limbo, Comcast has confirmed that things are starting to look up for their theme park division, and they are expecting to hit a break even point in 2021, even if Universal Studios Hollywood remains shuttered due to restrictions in California. And though attendance, revenue, etc. are all down significantly year over year, with current difficulties breaking even might be the best that not just Universal, but any theme park group can hope for in the age of COVID-19.

In the negotiations (cuộc đàm phán), the management suggested biennial wage (tiền lương hai năm một lần) talks, an increase in base pay of 22,000 won and seven million won in bonus to be paid by next year. The payment increased 1.5 million won from the previous offer and the management removed the precondition that 1.3 million won can be paid only when the company is above its break-even point at the end of this year. On the management’s part, this is a substantial concession in that the company’s cumulative (tích lũy, dồn lại) losses amount to three trillion (nghìn tỷ) won or so and COVID-19 led to a production loss of 60,000 cars in the first half of this year.
