“A mile away” = chỉ xa một dặm -> nghĩa là rất dễ dàng, luôn trong tầm quan sát/theo dõi. Còn “miles away” nghĩa là bị phân tâm/không tập trung.

Ví dụ
During the daylight, they will know you’re coming from a mile away, but they are easily approached at night because they cannot see you. You can shine your light across them or wave your hands in front of one with absolutely no response.

While a pro like Hoelscher can pick out these learned habits from a mile away, us novices are a little less able to spot them. "Shoulders were straight on and squared almost throughout," he said. "All of which is to say that she was focused on a professional delivery to a fairly extreme degree for a polished speaker. To me, it means that she is a highly focused, driven, and likely intelligent person. It's hard to control that many aspects of your non-verbal communication at once while delivering a message so precisely." Count us impressed!

Mindfulness practices aren’t as easy as I make them sound, but they’re not all that difficult either. Just 5 minutes a day can make a difference. Even though you’re not aware of it, you’re judging yourself and your experience of others much of the time. And your mind might be miles away from your body, caught up in streams of thoughts about future or past judgments.
