"Rough as bags" nghĩa là gì?

"Rough as bags"  = thô như túi -> nghĩa là thô lỗ, tục tĩu, không lịch sự. 

Ví dụ
In a sport of princesses, she was rough as bags. She had public tantrums with her trainers, swore (chửi thề) profusely at competition judges, skated to heavy metal tracks rather than excerpts from Swan Lake and wore tacky costumes she ran up herself; profiles noted she drove a truck and had been shooting and skinning (lột da) rabbits almost as long as she had been skating.

“I was as rough as bags to begin with but it soon came back,” he said of his flying skills. He describes the experience as a healing one and after spending nine months flying around the US talking to other veterans (cựu chiến binh) his rehabilitation (phục hồi) was complete.

It is during this last playing of the Butterworths that Beth ‘drops her bundle’, and says to the table: ‘It’s not anti-anything. I wish I was like Cheryl [Butterworth]. Cheryl’s better than me. She’s rough as bags, but she’s got more heart (tấm lòng).’
