Wegmans is the latest retailer to drop Chaokoh coconut milk.

The grocer follows Costco, Walgreens, Food Lion, Giant Food and Stop & Shop, who also stopped stocking brands (nhãn hiệu) of coconut milk (nước dừa tươi) from Thai suppliers (nhà cung cấp) who People for the Ethical Treatment (đối xử có đạo đức) of Animals (PETA) has accused of using monkeys (khỉ) as forced labor (lao động cưỡng bức).

PETA has been pushing stores to stop selling coconut milk it says were made with coconuts harvested (thu hoạch) by monkeys since it began investigating (điều tra) the alleged (cáo buộc) animal exploitation (lợi dụng động vật) in 2019.
