A lot of what happens in the NHL can be described as combinations (sự kết hợp) of endowment bias and the sunk cost fallacy, and the Ceci situation looked like that to me. The insiders say that’s about to change.

The endowment bias in terms of investing means that investors are naturally reluctant (lưỡng lự) to exit their holdings at the right time. They might prefer to stay in a position even after the indicators suggest that the asset should be sold to minimize losses or maximize gains.

‘Endowment bias’ is the idea that something we own is more valuable than something we do not. As humans, we are hardwired to avoid making losses to the extent that we will hold onto something that we own even if we are losing money by doing so. This is known as loss aversion (ác cảm), or the endowment bias, which leads us to place greater value on things that we own – including shares – than things that we don’t.
