"Penny pinching" nghĩa là gì?


"Penny pinching" có penny là đồng xu, pinch là són cho (ai cái gì) -> cụm từ này nghĩa là chắt bóp, hà tiện, chi li.

They provide serene (thanh thản) respite (nghỉ ngơi) from all the commotion of the city. No tall buildings, noisy traffic or Pret a Mangers. Instead silence. Blissful quiet. And best of all, they’re free - not something you can say about most attractions in the increasingly penny-pinching city.
