This assertion of our lord Jesus Christ has been made manifest in many instances and circumstances all over the world. In the gospel of St. Luke 10 vs 7 we are also advised that the labourer is worthy of his hire.
We pay our pastor (mục sư) a small salary, not because he needs it, but because the Bible states the “the labourer is worthy of his hire”. As a member of seven years, I can confidently attest to the fact that the church significantly underpays (trả thấp) pastor for his services, and that would still be the case had he made money off the sale of his house. The fact is, he lost, or rather donated money in that deal.
I am not saying that they should not charge, but be reasonable (hợp lý) because I am aware that the labourer is worthy of his hire. But you must not take advantage of the situation. I am also aware of the theory of supply and demand.
I frequently despair (thất vọng) for this country when reading some of the comments on this site. Is it not strange that Gardai are less valued and have less of an entitlement (quyền) than those from whom they protect us? The labourer is worthy of his hire and we are going down a dangerous road if we undervalue those who are tasked with enforcing the law if the land.
