The new McDonald’s vegan burger is basically a vegan alternative (món thay thế) to a quarter pounder with cheese. The McPlant will feature a vegan patty, co-developed with US meat-alternative brand Beyond Meat. The patty will be topped with ketchup, vegan special sauce, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and a slice of vegan cheese developed to taste just like the original McDonald’s slice.
I’m not saying you have to break out the Veuve Clicquot every time you order a Quarter Pounder, but you should try the combination at least once, perhaps on your birthday, New Year’s Eve, or the birth of a child. Capital-C Champagne is fiscally impractical (không thực tế) for everyday consumption, but any super dry sparkling wine will work.
Burger King's Keep It Real Meals look similar to McDonald's famous orders, which drove customers in with names like Travis Scott and BTS. The Travis Scott meal last fall was so popular that some locations ran out of Quarter Pounder ingredients (nguyên liệu).
But you shouldn’t overdo it on products that are vegan, but not necessarily healthy. For example, while the new McDonald’s McPlant burger has a slightly better nutritional (dinh dưỡng) profile than the restaurant chain’s Quarter Pounder with Cheese, it’s still not health food.
