"Rounding error" nghĩa là gì?

"Rounding error" = lỗi làm tròn -> nghĩa là điểm khác biệt giữa con số toán học chuẩn và con số ước lượng trong quá trình tính toán; nghĩa khác là một con số xếp riêng có giá trị lớn nhưng lại tương đối nhỏ khi xếp cùng số khác.
Ví dụ
Say a car company builds a factory that will last 20 years, and only has to spend a little every year to maintain it. In such a situation, depreciation (mất giá) isn’t a real cost, as the maintenance capital expenditure is a rounding error relative to the annual cost of the depreciation (assuming the factory doesn’t have to be totally rebuilt in 20 years, which is always a big “if”).
Similarly, the Tesla Cybertruck is delayed (hoãn) until the end of 2022 for all the same reasons. The Cybertruck also needs batteries and chips, but the Model Y and Model 3 are using up all the batteries and chips Tesla can get at the moment. (Well, of course, the Model S and Model X are using a few too, but those are practically a rounding error at this point.)
