A man who was tired of his wife’s “complaining” about the view from their home has built a
rotating house (nhà xoay) that can spin as she wishes.

Vojin Kusic, 72, said he designed the house in order to please his spouse (vợ) so she could watch a rising sun (mặt trời mọc) in one moment and passers-by in the next.

Situated on a plain in northern Bosnia near the town of Srbac, the house spins around a 7-metre axis designed by Mr Kusic – who is self-taught – with a view of cornfields (cánh đồng ngô) and farmland (đất chăn nuôi, trồng trọt) as well as forests and the river.

...At its slowest speed, the house can rotate a full circle for 24 hours. At its fastest, it can make a full circle in 22 seconds, he said.

Mr Kusic said he was inspired by Serbian-American inventors Nikola Tesla and Mihajlo Pupin, and his poor background had forced him to look for ways to make things by himself.

He said: ”This is not an innovation, it only requires will and knowledge, and I had enough time and knowledge.
