"Window dressing" nghĩa là gì?

"Window dressing" = mặc đồ cho cửa sổ -> nghĩa là cách hút khách của các cửa hiệu khi trưng bày các mặt hàng đang bán ở cửa sổ; nghĩa khác là những thứ không quan trọng, được làm, nói ra chỉ để thu hút người khác; làm cho có.

This is not a question of doing or not doing the “right” thing. This is the other pandemic we’re facing; the pandemic of male violence (bạo lực) against women, and a few window-dressing measures won’t cut it.
