"This ain’t it, chief" = không phải đâu thưa sếp -> câu nói hài hước, mỉa mai được dùng trên mạng ra dấu rằng điều vừa được nói sai lè, ngu hết sức.
Ví dụ
If you often use online social media, you will see many examples of informal (suồng sã) English. One expression that you may wonder about is: "This ain't it, chief." It is used to tell someone they are wrong about something they posted on social media. For example, a drink company posted a question asking if people would enjoy pumpkin spice flavored juice. Many people answered the question with the same four words: "This ain't it chief," meaning “no.”
"Aside from everything else, I assume there's a fairly serious offence of impersonating (vào vai) a government officer," tweeted one person. "This isn't remotely funny … do better," said another. "There's a time and a place for jokes and this ain't it, Chief. This is neither funny nor appropriate and I pity those who think it is. Find better content," tweeted another person.
If too many people do that, maybe it’ll get nerfed (giảm sức mạnh) too, so who knows. This all just seems rather pointless, and was met by the Destiny community with a collective “this ain’t it, chief.”
