"Gen pop" nghĩa là gì?

"Gen pop" = general population (dân số chung) -> nghĩa (thuật ngữ tù giam) là phần lớn các tù nhân chưa được biệt giam trong nhà tù đặc biệt để áp dụng các biện pháp kỷ luật hoặc bảo vệ; nghĩa khác là xu hướng/xu thế chủ đạo.

Bill Cosby has been moved to gen pop. We're told he believes his fellow prisoners all look up to him and wouldn't harm him ... despite facing sordid charges that include sex with minors -- which makes most prisoners a target.
