"Income inequality" có income là thu nhập, inequality là bất bình đẳng -> từ này nghĩa là bất bình đẳng thu nhập giữa các nhóm trong nước hay ngoài nước.

But income inequality is still very high. The WIR finds that the richest 10% of the global population currently takes 52% of global income, compared with just an 8% share for the poorest half. On average (trung bình), an individual from the top 10% of the global income distribution earned $122,100 (£92,150) a year in 2021, whereas an individual from the poorest half of the global income distribution makes just $3,920 a year, or 30 times less!
The report said that the average national income of the the Indian adult population in 2021 was Rs 2,04,200 on purchasing power parity (ngang bằng) basis. However, the income inequality can be understood from the fact that the bottom 50% of the population earned Rs 53,610 during the year.
The report – the work of more than 100 researchers from around the world – found income inequality varied (khác nhau) between regions, with the Middle East and north Africa (MENA) the most unequal and Europe the least unequal. In Europe, the top 10% income share is about 36%, whereas in MENA it reaches 58%.
The first round of funding (gây quỹ) will reportedly go out to participants located in Atlanta, more specifically in its Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, where income inequality is very pronounced.
