“Snitch-tagging” có snitch là mách lẻo/chỉ điểm -> từ này nghĩa là gắn thẻ ai vào những bài đăng chỉ trích/không lành mạnh về họ, nhất là trên Twitter; ‘bóc phốt’.

Snitches get stitches. It’s true in life, and on social media. This morning Mashable published a hilarious explainer about the social media scourge known as “snitch tagging.”
Is someone criticizing your favorite celebrity or Twitter personality but not adding their full name or Twitter handle to their tweets? Alert the Twitter user in question by snitch tagging them into your reply. Surely, they want to know what the dregs of their internet have to say about their new book, movie, article, or other endeavor.
The case against snitch tagging is simple. If we wanted to alert someone that we were being shady about, we would tag them. That's what tagging is for. Twitter has built a whole robust system of it, with @ mentions and hashtags and photo tags. If we didn't tag them, you can bet your sabotaging ass we want to shit talk that person with our friends but we don't want to start DRAMA™ by looping them in the convo.
