"Company manners" nghĩa là gì?

"Company manners" có company là cùng đi, cùng ở, có bầu có bạn -> từ này nghĩa là quy tắc lịch sự mà mọi người, nhất là trẻ nhỏ phải tuân theo khi giao tiếp với người khác.

Ví dụ
What does an invited guest do when their hosts get into one or more verbal (lời nói) screaming fights in front of them? Leave the room? Exit completely? I was raised that folks use “company manners” when guests were present.

There are “Robert’s Rules” which are basically to do Emily Post and make it so you follow a certain (nhất định) form for the meetings, you know, like company manners. But what about, allowing the community, i,e. taxpayers who are actually paying your salaries (albeit minimum but NU with their 12 billion dollar endowment I’m sure top up some money to pay you a liveable wage) for the council and mayor and not even a liveable wage ( so the people who run either go on bread and water or are independently wealthy).

But because we are from the South or we live in the South, we use our ‘company manners’ all the time. We don’t always get to ball that fist up and go, ‘Shut up!’
