"Male blindness" nghĩa là gì?

"Male blindness" = mù quáng kiểu đàn ông -> nghĩa là xu hướng không thấu hiểu, cảm thông cho các khó khăn mà người phụ nữ gặp phải; nghĩa khác là quá tập trung, bị thu hút bởi vẻ đẹp hình thể của phụ nữ.

In the Houses of Parliament (Quốc hội), Sir Bernard Jenkin MP spoke about “male blindness” saying that “while men and women are equal we have very different life experiences” and also made reference (liên hệ) to the disproportionate (thiếu cân đối) impact of the pandemic on women.
This male blindness which persists (dai dẳng) distorts decisions we make. We need a political settlement that makes it impossible for decisions to be made that fail to recognise that while men and women are equal, they have very different life experiences. We need more women where decisions are being made.
Other findings of the survey by recruitment (chiêu mộ) firm Hays similarly paint a picture of male blindness to the issue of gender diversity in the workplace. 83% of men said the same career opportunities are open to equally capable colleagues regardless of gender, compared to 49% of women who think so.
