A Provo woman was being held in jail on a charge of aggravated arson (tội phóng hỏa) after the police said she torched a shed that her husband and his new girlfriend were living in.

Police arrested Claire Robinson, 60, on Saturday near 2000 West 350 North in Provo.

According to an arrest report, Robinson had a butane torch (đuốc) at the time of her arrest. The two victims who were living inside the shed said they found Robinson "staring at them" as the shed burned.

Officers located a five gallon gas can with no lid near the fire.

“An accelerant sniffing K-9 gave a positive indication on the shoes and pants worn by [Robinson],” the arrest report stated.

Officers said Robinson told them she tried to alert her husband and the woman of the fire by "shouting at them," but the victims denied that.
