"Eat a shit sandwich" nghĩa là gì?

"Eat a shit sandwich" = ăn bánh kẹp cứt -> nghĩa là chịu hình phạt bị sỉ nhục, làm nhục.
Ví dụ
The Spotify shit sandwich special is even worse (tệ) than a grade school lunch lady dishing out shitty taco pizza every Wednesday following taco Tuesday. Spotify….go eat a shit sandwich and get back to me.
Well, I suppose (cho rằng) that’s what happens when you wake up every morning and have to eat a shit sandwich.
I think the real problem is, to get over those things required one of the women to eat a shit sandwich and say they were sorry, or take some responsibility (trách nhiệm) for something she might not have felt she really did wrong.
One media adviser I interviewed (phỏng vấn) explained it like this: “It’s a truism (hiển nhiên) in politics - If you’ve got to eat a shit sandwich you’ve got to eat it straight away… The advice was always, ‘Get rid of it now. Go and deal with it now’.”
