"Burn some clock" = đốt đồng hồ -> nghĩa là tận dụng nốt những phút cuối của trận đấu để bảo vệ sân nhà, không cho đối thủ cơ hội ghi bàn.

Denver’s offense (hàng tấn công) is designed to be conservative. Their goal is to not turn the ball over. They’re more than happy to burn some clock and kick the ball away.
