"Don’t know whether one is coming or going" = không biết đang đến hay đang đi nữa -> nghĩa là rối bời, rối trí vì quá bận bịu hoặc choáng ngợp.

Ví dụ
If you’re going from club to club it’s a hard process – you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. The old saying ‘home is where you hang your hat’ is certainly (chắc chắn) true for a player moving to a new country.

Yeah it was, because you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. You’ve got boots in your car because you don’t know if you’re going somewhere else or staying here.

“Being taken off one game and coming on the next, it doesn’t help. You don’t know whether you’re coming or going as a player. “That’s up to the manager (quản lý) to manage that. To make sure he’s ready and to make sure he understands why he’s in and out of the starting line up so he can improve.

That’s the hardest two weeks of your life at that point, because you don’t know whether you’re coming or going. Inevitably (chắc chắn), we went back [and the foetus] wasn’t there. We sat in the car on the way home, didn’t speak to each other, and had no idea what was going to happen next.
