"Queen for a day" nghĩa là gì?

"Queen for a day" = nữ hoàng trong một ngày -> nghĩa là thỏa thuận người chỉ điểm sẽ được miễn truy tố nhất định sau khi cung cấp thông tin (tội phạm, đồng bọn...) cho công tố viên liên bang.
Ví dụ
Enter the proffer (đề nghị) or “queen for a day” agreement. Proffer agreements set the terms (điều khoản) of a U.S. Attorney’s Office interview and, most importantly, how the government may use information that it learns during that interview. Though a proffer agreement’s content and structure may vary (thay đổi) from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, some key themes remain the same, and often are non-negotiable.
Unlike client (khách hàng) interviews, which typically are governed (chi phối) by a written proffer or so called “Queen for a Day” agreement that provides the client certain limited but defined protections against his or her statements being affirmatively used in a later proceeding, federal prosecutors generally pronounce no formal policies regarding attorney proffers.
