"Theirs not to reason why" nghĩa là gì?

"Theirs not to reason why" -> nghĩa là không có địa vị, không có quyền đặt câu hỏi, nghi vấn, hay kiểm soát tình hình. Câu này có nguồn gốc từ bài thơ 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' (cuộc tấn công của lữ đoàn kỵ binh nhẹ) của ngài Alfred Tennyson viết năm 1854, miêu tả các kỵ binh Anh Quốc tuân lệnh chỉ để lao vào cái chết trong cuộc chiến tranh Krym.
Ví dụ
As Alfred, Lord Tennyson writes: “Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die.” Irrespective of (bất chấp) the winds of change blowing through the Indian military, the Indian soldier will continue to march (hành quân) as smartly to tune of ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara’, as he would have done to the ‘Colonel Bogey March’.
Theirs not to make reply, theirs not to reason why, theirs but to do and die. Into the valley (thung lũng) of death rode the six hundred.
However all this has to enable the fighting end to execute its tasks. Hence the fighting end, which is represented (đại diện) by units and sub units – companies, squadrons (sư đoàn) and batteries (khẩu đội pháo), must be in harmony (hài hòa) and well-honed to face the enemy. After all they are in the business end of “theirs but to do and die, theirs not to reason why”.
