"Hope is a good breakfast but a bad supper" = hi vọng là bữa ăn sáng tốt nhưng là bữa tối dở -> nghĩa là khởi đầu ngày mới với nhiều hi vọng là tốt, nhưng nếu không điều hi vọng nào thành hiện thực vào cuối ngày thì sẽ rất bức bối, khó chịu.
