"Art of the possible" nghĩa là gì?

"Art of the possible" = (chính trị là) nghệ thuật của sự có thể -> nghĩa là quan điểm cho rằng chính trị thuộc chủ nghĩa thực dụng, đặt ra mục tiêu và thực hiện được, chứ không thuộc chủ nghĩa lý tưởng.
Ví dụ
If politics is the art of the possible, McCarthy is acting in a way that is most likely to allow him to reach power – even if the speaker’s gavel (cái búa) might turn into a poisoned chalice (ly rượu) and require him to infringe democratic values to keep it.
But that practical embrace of the art of the possible would become a hallmark of her political career—and one that her fellow Democrats this week adopted as the Senate cleared its first procedural (theo thủ tục) vote on a bill intended to protect some of the marriage rights now afforded by same-sex and interracial (giữa các chủng tộc) couples, in case the Supreme Court tries to strip them away.
