"Good cop, bad cop" = cớm tốt, cớm xấu -> nghĩa là tình huống hai người cùng cố đạt được điều gì, một người dùng phương pháp nhẹ nhàng, thuyết phục, người còn lại dùng vũ lực, bắt ép.

Ví dụ
Kristin and Jason's interrogation (thẩm vấn) of Everett falls under the classic good cop, bad cop negotiation strategy. As Katie Shonk explains in a blog post for Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation, one interrogator is overtly hostile (thù địch) while the other interrogator is more conciliatory (hòa giải).

However, it is important to put the balloon in the context of Beijing’s habitual (thường lệ) good cop, bad cop negotiating routine. In intelligence terms, both countries spy on each other using satellites (vệ tinh) and aircraft.

Very, very interesting thoughts. In fact, one of your favourites at South Sydney, Alex Johnston, is a PNG international and loves representing the country, as he did at the World Cup. Now Prime Minister, I'm here to do the hard-hitting, see good cop, bad cop.

Tyre was nothing more than a reminder (nhắc nhở) to all of us that they can kill us any time they want. It was proof (bằng chứng) beyond reasonable doubt that the “few bad apples” is a hoax. It was proof that the “good cop” is a myth. You see, in “good cop, bad cop”, the good cop is the worst one.
