'Spin one’s wheels' có một động từ mới là to spin nghĩa là quay tròn. Spin one's wheels nghĩa đen là quay tròn bánh xe, tức là cố gắng nhiều lần để làm một điều gì mà không đạt được kết quả mong muốn.
