"Back-of-the-envelope calculation" nghĩa là gì?

"Back-of-the-envelope calculation" = mặt sau Phong Bì. Từ này thực ra có nghĩa là tính thô, tính nhẩm, các phép tính đơn giản, có thể viết và tính trên một tờ giấy nhỏ, ngay trên mặt sau của phong bì.
Ví dụ
We did a back-of-the-envelope calculation and we believe that by optimizing memories (tối ưu bộ nhớ), $50 million to $100 million could be saved per year in power consumption (điện năng tiêu thụ) savings alone.
Back-of-the-envelope calculations suggest a huge upside (tăng giá lớn) to VOXX's current share (cổ phiếu) price below $5. But that case has existed for some time now - and shareholders (cổ đông) are getting impatient (mất kiên nhẫn) as management fails to unlock that value.
