"Fuss and feathers" nghĩa là gì?

"Fuss and feathers" = ồn ào và bộ lông -> ý chỉ (ai đó) ám ảnh về việc trưng diện, làm lố. Cụm từ này được dùng cách đây hơn 150 năm để chế diễu một viên tướng Mỹ tên Winfield Scott, tuy đã về hưu nhưng lại thích chưng diện và thường mặc áo đội mũ lông chim đi biểu diễn trên các đường phố ở Washington.
Ví dụ
