"Chinese puzzle" nghĩa là gì?

Tại sao 1+1 lại bằng 0 nhỉ? Photo by Jonathan Andrew from Pexels

"Chinese puzzle" = trò xếp hình bằng các miếng gỗ của Trung Quốc (mức độ khó cao) -> câu đố rắc rối, vấn đề rắc rối khó giải quyết.

Ví dụ
The unintended consequences (hậu quả không lường trước) in all this are “a Chinese puzzle, a really difficult puzzle,” according to Boeheim.

A Chinese puzzle: how do protesters (biểu tình) in Hong Kong believe wrecking railway stations, setting fires and throwing petrol bombs will bring them what they want?

The long life symbol inspired papers to dub (gán cho cái tên) the discovery of the mutilated corpse (xác chết) as a "Chinese Puzzle". The body was naked and anchored beneath the water with industrial weights and a hydraulic lorry jack (kích thủy lực).

How they figure this out is a Chinese puzzle, a really difficult puzzle. To make it legal and so that one guy doesn’t get this and what about these guys? And the quarterback (tiền vệ) and running back get this and the linemen (trọng tài biên) don’t get anything.
