"A bad egg" nghĩa là gì?

"A bad egg" hoặc "rotten egg" = quả trứng thối -> kẻ xấu, thành viên bất hảo, kẻ phá hoại tổ chức/ làm hại người khác, người bị coi là thiếu chân thực và không tin cậy được. Ngược lại là "good egg", một người đáng tin cậy.
Ví dụ
The two dated for a while but he proved time and time again to be a bad egg. He made comments about her weight, about not seeing a future with her, and he even ended up cheating on (lừa dối) her.

The plotlines (cốt truyện) were outrageous (thái quá)- like the time chief WAG Tanya Turner (Zoe Lucker) decided to 'sh*g' the manager of Premier League club Earls Park FC to death. Or when Chardonnay (Susie Amy) let rotten egg Jason Turner (Cristian Solimeno) plunge to his death after he rejected his son Paddy for being born an hemaphroite (lưỡng tính).
